We are happy to let you know that the Milk Calendar 2018 is available for Pre-Order so You can reserve your copy prior to its release in December.

The theme of the 2018 calendar are your favourite MILKY PINUPS and the name is “The SplashScreen”.

After four years from the release of the original Milky Pinups (below), followed by the SplashHeroes, The Fallen Angels and this year’s Black Calendar we decided to have more fun in the studio!

Milk Workshop – 13-14 May’17 OSLO, Norway

Hey Guys,

Hope you are all doing well!
Thank you for your messages and interest in the Milk Workshops.

It’s been a very busy and productive year for us.
We’ve been involved in quite a few really cool, commercial projects which we are going to share with you here in a near future.

This post will be brief and just to let you know that we are going to run our Milk Workshops this year.

The closest one is going to be in OSLO, Norway on 13-14 May 2017.

We have an invitation to go to New York, USA and Australia too and these workshops are in preparation.
13-14 May’17 – OSLO, Norway Milk Workshop – 2 Day event

We have prepared a new material for you, focused on the commercial side of the industry.
We will show you how we work with our individual clients, advertising agencies and the press.

Day 1: MILK THROWING 9am-8pm (close to 11 hours!)

– We will open the event with a presentation sharing the complete Milky Know-How!

– Then take you through the Milk Photoshoot – From A to Z – working with a model and team of assistants on set.

– After that participants will take over and will throw the Milk on a model trying to photograph a unique illustration.

– We will close the day with a BANG – taking you on a full on commercial style shoot on a pre-built set. Applying a time pressure factor showing you what the real game is all about.

Day 2: POSTPRODUCTION 9-5pm (8hours)

– We will share our RAW photos from the day one – and then we will take you through a mind bending postproduction process.
– Even though there is a lot of ground to cover – no one will be left behind and photographers with all levels of skills are more than welcome!

In Oslo we will be hosted by an amazing team at IkonStudio.no We worked together in the past on our SplashHeroes series and I can tell you that this place is amazing and will help you create literally anything.

Milky PinUps !

Today we have a few illustrations from our recent Workshops in London, Frankfurt and Los Angeles.
We had a great time with photographers from all over the world and now are gearing up for a really fantastic Milky weekend in Italy, produced by Manfrotto and Marco Tortato in Bassano on 8-9 June.

It looks like it will be our last event in Europe in summer 2013 as we are moving on…
I am happy to let you know that we will be visiting for our Milky Workshops AUSTRALIA again in November 2013!

This time I thought it will be cool to approach the liquid theme in a more relaxed and funny way.
So we threw some colours into the mix and came up with a personal Milky PinUp parody and tribute to my favourites pinup style artists.

It was a lot of fun to work on these images and I am happy with the results as you never know if the liquid is actually going to work like you want and could you translate any concept into a Liquid scenario…

.
Here you can find some of the original paintings that we used as a references.

As you can see most of them were done by Gil Elvgren but there is more cool work from a talented people like Alberto Vargas or Greg Hildebrandt, to name but a few.

All together it is a really fun series and a cool change from our usual White on Black illustrations.
